Pups naar nieuwe baasjes
NL De laatste foto met alle 12 pups op donderdag 9 februari. Tien pups zijn vorig weekend opgehaald door hun nieuwe baasjes. Wat is het stil! Vrijdags waren er al vier ‘uitgevlogen’, en jee, wat een verschil; 1/4 minder geluid, 1/4 minder poepjes, 1/4 minder plasjes… Het vreemdste was het klaarmaken van 1/4 minder voerbakjes …! En op zaterdag gingen er nog eens 3 uit huis, en op zondag 2 en op maandag 1… steeds minder voerbakjes. Dat ik me wel eens vergiste is denk ik niet zo vreemd 🙂 Er werd constant in huis geroepen: ‘hoeveel zijn het er nu nog?’. Gelukkig zijn alle pups goed terecht gekomen. Heel blij werden we van de leuke, lieve berichtjes, de foto’s en de filmpjes van de pups bij hun nieuwe baasjes in huis. Stuk voor stuk positieve berichten. Dat maakt het zoveel makkelijker loslaten. De laatste twee pups die nu nog in huis zijn konden we afgelopen week wat meer individuele aandacht geven. Met hulp van Heleen en Evert kon ik zelfs al weer een beetje trainen met de grote honden; zij met de 2 pups aan de lijn op stap in het bos en een kop koffie drinken en ik met Kaya, Tika en Pancho steppen en hardlopen. Vanaf morgen moeten we ook het laatste reutje (Awash) gaan missen en dan hebben we nog een week alleen teefje Ajai. Ook voor hen is gelukkig het gouden mandje gevonden.
EN The last picture of all the 12 puppies on Thursday 9th of February. Ten of the 12 puppies were picked up by their new owners last weekend. It is quiet in the house! On Friday four of them ‘flew out’, and the difference was considerable; 1/4 less noise, less droppings 1/4, 1/4 fewer pees … preparing 1/4 less feeding bowls felt the most odd ..! And on Saturday another 3 puppies left the house, and on Sunday 2 and on Monday 1 … less and less feeding bowls. That I was sometimes mistaken is not so strange I think 🙂 There was a constant calling in the house: “how many are left now?”. Fortunately, all the puppies have ended up at great new families. We were very happy with all the cute, sweet messages, photos and videos of the puppies at their new homes. Nothing but positive messages. That makes it so much easier to let go. The last week we have been able to give more individual attention to the last two pups that are still in our house. With the help of Heleen and Evert I could even already do a little workout with the big dogs; Heleen and Evert went with the two puppies on a leash and went for a cup of coffee and Kaya, Tika, Pancho and I went for running and for a ride with the scooter. Tomorrow we must also miss the last male (Awash) and then we have another week with just Ajai. For them luckily we also found a golden basket.
