EN  The puppies are already over a week old. We became quickly accustomed to that glorious comical sounds they produce when they are satisfied after feeding or when you hold them in your hand giving them a little massage. So cute! Five of the 12 pups already doubled in weight relative to their birth weight, the other seven have almost reached double weight. Luckily everything goes smoothly, despite the fact that mom Tika couldn’t eat much for two days because she had diarrhea. it disappeared quickly, thanks to the tablets from the vet and the cooked white rice + diet food. I’m very relieved, I was a little worried about it. There was little reason to worry, because the puppies were not restless and looked satisfied. But yet …! The past week was a week with little sleep, caring for Tika, cuddling with the puppies, pride, tenderness, hectic, sense of responsibility, (e-mail- and telephone-) contacts with (possible) new puppy owners and administration. A nice thing is that we have submitted the pedigree names. May we proudly to introduce to you, our A-litter of names of African nature reserves: Ajai (f), Akanda (f), Amakhala (f), Asubima (f), Abidjatta (f), Arusha (f), Ayum (m), Ahrash (m), Abuko (m), Ankasa (m), Awash (m) and Addo (m) Of the Lion Teasers 🙂
